Clear Investment Group, a boutique real estate investment firm, is seeking a Jr. Analyst to join our expanding team. This individual will collaborate closely with both the Director of Analytics and Analyst to support the firm’s underwriting procedures. The role involves underwriting acquisitions, performing variance analyses on current portfolios, preparing for the disposition of stabilized assets, and supporting financial due diligence. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and demonstrate a keen willingness to learn and collaborate within a small, dynamic team.

Core Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary underwriter for new acquisitions
  • Conduct monthly reporting, including variance analyses
  • Prepare financials for upcoming portfolio dispositions
  • Assist with financial due diligence on all new portfolios
  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process
  • Participate in the development and refinement of new financial models
  • Collaborate with the Director of Analytics and Analyst to synthesize underwriting for key stakeholders, including lenders, investors, the CIG investment committee, fund advisory committees, and other departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in collaboration with the Analytics team

Desired Experience / Attributes
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, or a related field
  • Relevant internship experience in asset management, portfolio management, acquisitions, or brokerage
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with experience in financial modeling
  • Understanding of real estate underwriting fundamentals (multifamily experience is a plus)
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to self-validate and a passion for delivering accurate deliverables
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • SQL and or VB experience is a plus
