Job Overview
We are seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee Clear Investment Group’s operations in the West South Central region, with primary responsibility for our property in Shreveport, Louisiana. This position will oversee a portfolio of multifamily assets in the region, lead on-site staff, and develop operational systems that promote stabilization and long-term growth.

The ideal candidate has direct experience stabilizing Class C distressed properties, is initiative-taking, and drives projects through to completion. Preferred Candidates: Those currently living in the West South-Central region (Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas).
 

About You
  • Seasoned (10+ years) property manager with experience stabilizing distressed assets (Class C); experience with unstabilized portfolios and/or receiverships is a must
  • Significant leadership and management experience (5+ years) with a proven ability to recruit, train, and supervise talented property teams
  • Proven ability to read and analyze property-level financial statements, including P&L statements and budget variances; able to implement initiatives that improve NOI
  • Strong operational mind: ability to create, implement, and maintain processes for all facets of property management (collections, leasing, maintenance, property reporting)
  • Excellent communicator; able to professionally and compassionately work with colleagues, direct reports, vendors, and residents
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with Yardi Voyager and RentCafe a major plus
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and walk-up multiple flights of stairs

Core Responsibilities
Property Management
  • Oversee daily operations for multifamily portfolios in the West South-Central region (300–1200 units each)
  • Monitor property performance and implement strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue
  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes for all facets of portfolio management: collections, leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and property reporting
  • Coordinate with rental assistance programs: both Section 8 and state-funded programs
  • Oversee capital improvement projects, including bidding, coordination with on-site staff and residents, project management, and reporting to company leadership
  • Lead the quoting and binding process for property-level insurance coverage
Property Assessment
  • Conduct thorough assessments of distressed properties to identify issues and necessary repairs
  • Develop and execute strategies for property improvement and stabilization
Staff Management
  • Hire, train, and manage all on-site staff: property managers, leasing agents, and maintenance crews
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment
Maintenance and Repairs
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to ensure properties meet quality standards
  • Supervise contractors and maintenance staff to complete tasks efficiently
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce future issues
Communication
  • Maintain effective communication with property owners, stakeholders, and other relevant parties
  • Serve as a liaison between property management and other departments within the organization
